CLOSING DATE: 20 FEB 2020 OR REACHED MAXIMUM 120 PAID ENTRIES.

Fees will only be refunded if the participant withdraw by giving notice of at least 3 days before the competition starts. A service fee of RM 2 is chargeable for 1 refund transaction.

Apa tu Chess960?

Catur Rawak Fisher (Fisher random chess) atau dikenali juga dengan Chess960 adalah variasi permainan catur yang dicipta oleh bekas juara catur dunia Bobby Fischer. Fischer mengumumkan variasi permainan baru ini pada 19 Jun 1996, di La Plata, Argentina. Catur rawak Fischer menggunakan papan dan buah yang sama seperti catur standard, tetapi kedudukan permulaan buah pada peringkat awal permainan adalah rawak, mengikuti peraturan tertentu. Persediaan rawak membuat kelebihan melalui hafalan bukaan menjadi tidak praktikal; pemain sebaliknya harus lebih bergantung pada bakat dan kreativiti mereka secara spontan di atas papan.
